Newsletter: Happy Holidays!

Happy Christmas! Christmas is my favourite time of year, not just because I love the carols and seasonal readings, but because I love the idea that power and the ability to change the world come not with an army or with a pile of money, but in poverty and with vulnerability. Christmas is the time when we learn again that God’s love will be with us and will inspire us to serve and take care of the whole world.

Merry Christmas to you and your families. I pray that peace and love will fill you hearts and your homes, and that you will be inspired to share that peace and love with everyone you meet.

For your information, I will be out of town from December 27 until January 3.

Happy Holidays to you all!

Christmas Services

Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday this year!

On Sunday December 24, we will have the regular 8am and 10am services, and then a special Christmas Eve Eucharist at 7pm.

Come and celebrate Christmas with us!

The St Andrew’s Choir has been working hard this season, and is ready to sing some beautiful Christmas music with you.

We’ll tell the story of Christmas and have Communion too!

All ages are invited.

If you would like to join on Zoom:

Or phone in at: 778-907-2071 and enter meeting code 919477422

On Monday, December 25th, we’ll celebrate Christmas Day at 10am. This is an in-person service only.

The following Sunday is December 31, New Year’s Eve. Because so many people will be away, we will cancel the regular Sunday services at St Andrew’s and invite you to join in at either the parish of St George, Fort Langley, or the parish of St Dunstan in Aldergrove.

9:30am St George’s, Fort Langley - 9160 Church St, Fort Langley

10am St Dunstan’s, Aldergrove - 3025 264th St, Aldergrove

Regular Sunday services will begin again on January 7 when we will celebrate the Baptism of the Lord.

If you have any questions about this, please connect with the office.
