Our building is place of spiritual meaning & practice for seekers and long-time Christians, and a place of refuge & support for daycare families, recovery groups, and others who share or rent our space. Your donation to the building fund helps us complete large maintenance and renovation projects in a timely manner. Current big projects include replacing the flooring in the church & hall, replacing the roof over top of the hall & daycare, and repaving and rebuilding the parking lot.
Every few years our congregation likes to support youth from the parish in a pilgrimage somewhere in the world. Most recently we sent four youth and two adult chaperones to the Taize community in France, with a side trip to London for some West-End shows on the way home. Your donation to our Youth Ministry Fund shows your commitment to the spiritual formation of young people and ensures that these kinds of experiences are accessible to youth from all walks of life.
We are working with a small group of dedicated people from the Fraser Valley to support a family from Afghanistan in their efforts to come to Canada. Your donation to the refugee fund will help them once they arrive by providing them with such essentials as food, furniture and clothing. In addition to your monetary contribution, gifts of furniture, electronics and housewares are most welcome.
