Newsletter: Spring Clean Up!

Welcome to Spring!

The flowers have popped up and the rain is coming down! Must be spring in the Lower Mainland. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the Garden Clean Up so far this year. I appreciate so much all the digging and chopping and planting and wheelbarrowing. The yard is looking great! I will continue to turn up on Saturday mornings to stay on top of the yard work and you are invited to join me. Cathy is also looking for a few more volunteers to help with the grass cutting over the spring and summer months.

In addition to the yard work, we are planning to clean up the inside of the church too. Stuart is inviting as many of us as possible to a Church Clean Up Day on Saturday, May 6 beginning at 9am. He’ll have a list ready in the next couple of weeks of all the tasks we’d like to accomplish that day. (My favorite will be to move the Meals on Wheels fridge out of the Fireplace Room and into the back storage room!) Please do consider coming to help that day. There will be windows to wash, and shelves to build, and all kinds of fun things to do!

Family Eucharist Service

Here’s a selection of pictures from the Family Eucharist Service. Our next family event will be a picnic at Lorie’s place at Cultus Lake on June 3rd.

Please let me know if you or someone you know would like a clergy person to reach out to them!

With love,

Andrew
