Questions with Andrew!

Paraphrased by Erin!

“Tell me more about why we are using the Nicene creed during the Easter season!”

Easter reminds us in a particular way that we worship as members of a body, a whole, and not as individuals. Many of our Anglican family members around the world currently find themselves in unsafe situations, experiencing significant hardship. Speaking the creed together, in the same way our world-wide family is, allows us to practice speaking in one voice, alongside one another here and around the world.

Speaking the Nicene creed together also honours Bishop John’s desire for us to do so!

Pastoral Visitors Needed!

Would you enjoy visiting with and taking Eucharist to members in our community who are unable to attend on Sundays? We need you!!!

Talk with Andrew to arrange a time to join on a pastoral visit for training!

Money Moments!

Recent and Upcoming Expenditures! All Donations welcome!!

Painting of office, bathrooms and hallway: $4000

Replacement of side door: $2000 (after insurance)

Gardener for Upcoming Season: $850

Land Appraisal: $5000

Building Update

Next Step: Land Appraisal

As St Andrew’s land will be used as collateral for funding, we need to discover the value of the land as if rezoning to allow for housing is already complete. Therefor a land appraisal, with the future zoning in mind, will be ordered. The land appraisal will cost approximately $5000.

Readings May 3:

Acts 7:55-60 (or alt. Pr 4:10-18); Ps 31:1-5, 15-16 (or alt. Ps 119:9-32); 1 Pet 2:2-10; Jn 14:1-14;
