Interim Priest In Charge for St Andrew’s
This past week, the opportunity arose to consider a candidate for Interim Priest in Charge at St Andrew’s, until a permanent priest can be found. The parish council met to discuss the opportunity and agreed that having a stable priest presence, would allow important ministries of St Andrew’s to continue and fully resume, including weekly services, care home services, family eucharist (Messy Church) and bible study. The Wardens met with Rev Liz Ruder-Celiz to discern fit for St Andrew’s and are confident that she will be a great addition to the parish! Rev Liz will start by presiding at services on October 4th and will work 30 hours/week.
Fill a Backpack!!
Between Aug 16-September 20 St Andrews will be collecting school supplies to be donated to the Sources Foodbank for distribution to students in need!!
Backpack Blessing will take place on September 20th!

Silent Auction Items Needed
On November 8th St Andrew’s will be holding it’s annual silent auction during the Vancouver Orpheus Male Choirs Concert of Remembrance at St Andrew’s. Donations of Auction items are greatly needed! Please donate as you are able!
